It’s always extremely refreshing hearing music that brings something new to the table and SHIVA’s “Sunshine (One Love)” is the perfect example. It mixes traditional elements and a familiar percussive beat along with elements that provide a sort of spiritual touch to it. This makes for a track that listeners don’t simply listen to, but rather something they feel deep in their core, which is a hard feat to accomplish.
SHIVA, who identifies as a digital nomad isn’t a stranger to travel and this has certainly helped with drawing from many inspirations to create a more diverse and eclectic sound that can be heard through his works. He is currently working on his debut album and we will be awaiting to hear the direction he takes it in especially as we still need to dig deeper through his catalog. If it’s anything like this, it’ll be right up our alley and if not, that can be even better as we love when an artist experiments to really help develop and expand their sound.
